new word added to my dictionary

We were discussing gen about companies and their arbit alliances.. Sun's recent alliance with Microsoft and the very new alliance with Google, with Google and Microsoft being the new rivals, now IBM having some business search alliance with Google, and IBM being Sun's competitor. One was wondering how this could happen. Are friends of enemies not enemies? Not in this world... So what do you term such a thing? Cooperation with/and/or Competition? It is called "Coopetition" :)
